My Goodnight Nemesis pattern is nspired by Margaret Wise Brown (1910-1952), American writer of children’s books. 

Brownie’s writing style was characterized by its poetic and rhythmic language, playful use of repetition, and ability to capture the joys and anxieties of childhood, making her one of the most beloved and influential children’s authors of the 20th century. 

Her timeless classic “Goodnight Moon,” was once banned from the New York City library in the 1940s, due to accusations that the book was too sentimental.
