My Time Out pattern is inspired by Irving Harper (1916-2015), an American industrial designer. 

Known for his unconventional approach to design, Irving’s work resulted in numerous iconic creations ranging from furniture and household objects to corporate logos and packaging.

Irving’s intricate and innovative paper sculptures, created from cutting and folding paper by hand, are considered some of the most impressive works of paper art in the 20th century.
